As we cheer for the leaps of science and technology, do we also, perhaps unknowingly, overlook the elements that bring peace and comfort to our lives? Are we so intent on climbing toward the heights pointed out by technology that we forget the natural, humble beauty beneath our feet? If we ascend toward the so-called “high ground” with unsteady steps, might we also fall in a sudden moment?
